Who we are
We design residences that span from cozy tiny homes to expansive multi-family buildings, tailored to both urban and remote settings. Our philosophy focuses on creating spaces that nurture a sense of belonging and enrich daily life for the end user while accommodating a diverse range of budgets.
We recognize the vital connection between our homes and their context. By deeply understanding each site's unique opportunities and challenges, we craft projects that resonate with both the landscape and the community that inhabit it.

Katie Henderson
PRINCIPAL, ARCHITECT AIBC
Katie was born and raised in Vancouver, and graduated from Dalhousie University with a Masters of Architecture and a Bachelor’s of Environmental Design.
Prior to forming K Henderson Architecture in 2016, Katie worked at DIALOG Design as a project architect for multi-family residential projects. Previous to DIALOG, Katie worked at Shift Architecture.
Katie brings her enthusiasm and passion of architecture to a wide range of projects from residential to mixed use developments, both in the private and public sector, and in various phases from Schematic Design through to Construction Administration. She has the strong ability to maintain a holistic approach while able to tackle challenging details throughout the design process, and believes strongly that good design does not need a high budget, and that architecture should always focus on the end user and future of the site.
Katie is a Faculty Instructor in the Architectural and Building Technology Department in the School of Construction at BCIT.
